Since when is it socially acceptable to pop and smack gum?!? Two cubes over a coworker is just going to town popping and smacking and chomping like you would not believe. And she's going on an hour now with this. She's got to be spraying some serious spit. She clearly doesn't care who hears her, as she is now doing it while speaking with her manager. I don't work in an extremely formal office, but come on! Have a little respect for the people who are forced to sit near you every day!
